Solution: I think the problem is 'resolved'. I've also tried uninstalling Souls Unsqueezed, but it seemed to make no difference. The issues seem slightly less frequent at 1080p.

I've tried running the game in windows 7 compatability mode, updating graphics drivers, disabling the steam overlay and verifying my game cache on steam. Since the problems started I've tried changing to a regular window, changing to regular 1080p, and changing all settings to minimum. I initially ran the game in a borderless window at 3440x1440p on max settings. Of course I'm also using Souls Unsqueezed. I'm playing using a wired 360 controller. I have an i7-4790, a 780ti, 16gb of RAM and a gigabyte board. I'm using a 3440x1440p 75hz screen for the game, and also have 2560x1080, 1920x10x1050 screens connected.

I'm running windows 10, 64 bit, up to date but without the creator's update. When a freeze happens the game music keeps playing, my screens often go black then return to normal, and the game remains frozen with the music playing until I force quit the program. Freezes can also happen with no apparent trigger. These freezes are especially common when I or an opponent takes a hit in melee, but also seem to be brought on by certain effects, such as when the large brown wolf in the painted world uses any of his special attacks - which always cause massive graphical issues that fill whole parts of the screen. When a crash happens the video totally freezes, occasionally advancing one more frame then stopping, and I often hear a blood splatter sound effect or similar. I thought the problem might be my GPU, but it runs other games without issues. I had no problems running the game until I reached the Dancer fight, which was when the problems began, the game crashing perhaps 20 times while I tried to fight the boss.

Problem: The game is freezing regularly (sometimes within seconds of starting it, sometimes not for an hour), especially in boss fights, usually but not always preceded by flickering graphical glitches such as flashes of colour or black lines/very stretched out triangles.

Below is a description of the problem and steps taken, but I regret to say I don't have any logs from SU as a result. I didn't initially think it was a SU problem, but after many hours I narrowed it down to the only possibility.

These files are the oldest files for mods A and B (and older ones haven't been deleted) -The first file for mod Z was uploaded after the oldest file for mod A and before the oldest file for mod B.we can be certain that the File Index for mod Z's first file must be X where 55047 < X < 55055.Hi, I'm trying to report an issue - hopefully this is the right place. Provided that the following facts are true. Now look up the URL for the NMM link for the oldest file for mod B, which might look something like: This means there could be some distance between the first File Indexes on two sequential Mod Indexes. File Indexes are also assigned sequentially, but are also assigned to new files added to existing mods. The first is the Mod Index while the second is the File Index. Look up mod A and check the URL link for the NMM download link of the oldest file, which should look something like this: Now suppose that the first file of mod Z is the file we'd like to download. Since Mod Indexes are assigned sequentially, the mods created immediately before and immediately after mod Z are mods A and B with corresponding Mod Indexes of 1562 respectively. That number at the end is the Mod Index, which in this case is 15611. Let us suppose that the mod we want, mod Z, has the URL: Here is a little way around this problem that only works for mods uploaded since the NMM was released: Sometimes these files are very hard to obtain elsewhere on the web. Often times files get removed from the Nexus sites, whether because the content is too extreme, the author is angry at stupid comments, or because the uploader did not own the file.
